There is plenty to see and explore near us. We are about 3 miles from the small market town of Haltwhistle which has shops, an open air swimming pool and sports centre. You can explore the countryside by foot or bike we are near the South Tyne Trail and the wonderful Lambley Viaduct. And of course Hadrian's Wall and all it's forts and museums are only a short drive away.
A half hour in the car east will take you to the historic market town of Hexham with shops, parks, an indoor pool, cinerma, the abbey and other historical buildings or west to Carlisle with its castle and cathedral.
Further afield but within easy distance is the coast and the Lake District or if you fancy shopping the Metro Centre is a large shopping centre about 40 mins away.
